French start-up Sorare welcomed Betis Sevilla, a famous Spanish football club, to join the list of their partner teams through this announcement on Twitter and press releases in the media. Sorare had tokenized another football club.

Thanks to the licensing agreement obtained by Sorare, the famous Nabil Fekir, and all the other club players will be able to sign tokens and become real collectors.

“We are very proud to have signed this agreement with such a Spanish legend. We see this as a key new step in our vision to bring together the best football clubs on the planet and offer blockchain gaming to football fans around the world.”

~ Nicolas Julia, CEO of Sorare

Real Betis joined a growing list of well-known European clubs already partnered with Sorare. Indeed, Sorare has obtained operating licenses for players from Juventus, Schalke, Atlético de Madrid, Porto, and Spartak Moscow.

The last big football team to be added to Sorare was Juventus Turin, a famous Italian football club. With the acquisition of this license, Sorare had the opportunity to brand Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rapid Development

Launched in March 2019, Sorare aims to bring the world of cryptocurrency to football fans. In January 2020, Sorare’s game enrolled more than 5,000 users each month and reached a total capacity of $50,000.

Based in Paris, Sorare is sponsored by major leading firms such as Seedcamp, ConsenSys, and Kima Ventures. Sorare already enjoys excellent support and is building a solid user base.

By making more clubs available to its users, Sorare has the potential to become a standard in its field in the coming years. Moreover, with many football fans around the world, Sorare does not live in a niche market.
